The creation of Hanaa represents a collaborative triumph in modern naval architecture and interior styling. For the exterior lines, Antonini Navi enlisted the renowned expertise of Hydro Tec, a firm celebrated for its seaworthy yet striking profiles. Meanwhile, the interior environments were masterminded by the celebrated design house Hot Lab, resulting in a cohesive aesthetic that balances rugged exploration capabilities with refined elegance. Together, the design teams have crafted a yacht that maximizes every square inch of its four-deck configuration, offering a distinctive layout that completely reimagines how a 100-foot vessel can be utilized by its owner and guests.
One of the most radical departures from industry norms is found on the main deck of the Evo 31. On a typical yacht of this category, naval architects and designers almost universally incorporate a forward-facing owner’s suite and a formal interior salon. Hanaa, however, completely discards this formulaic approach. Instead, the main deck is dedicated to one expansive, uninterrupted social space. At its heart lies a spacious central lounge that flows seamlessly outward toward the aft cockpit and the open exterior deck, creating a continuous indoor-outdoor environment ideal for socializing, relaxing, and entertaining against a panoramic backdrop of the sea.

The forward section of the main deck further highlights the ingenuity of the design. Here, the shipyard has incorporated a private terrace seamlessly integrated directly into the hull. This versatile bow area is engineered to adapt fluidly to the owner’s needs, capable of transforming effortlessly into an alfresco dining area, a quiet workspace or office, or an intimate meeting space. By rethinking the traditional boundaries of the main deck, Antonini Navi and its design partners have unlocked a level of spatial versatility that is virtually unprecedented in a 102-foot vessel.
Moving upward, the upper deck of Hanaa is designed to evoke the lavish atmosphere typically found aboard much larger megayachts. This elevated level houses both the primary helm station and the dedicated owner’s quarters, ensuring that the captain and the principal guest enjoy prime positioning. The owner’s suite itself is treated as a private sanctuary, opening directly onto a secluded aft terrace complete with a lounge bar and a private Jacuzzi. This private outdoor oasis is cleverly separated from the general guest areas below and around the vessel, offering the owner an exclusive retreat for unwinding in complete privacy while at anchor or underway.
Crowned above the upper deck is a sundeck that Antonini Navi describes as one of the most spacious available in this size category. Spanning roughly 840 square feet, the sundeck is outfitted with everything required for open-air leisure, including a dedicated dining area, a fully equipped barbecue station, and expansive sun pads designed for maximum relaxation under the sun. Every deck has been meticulously planned to ensure that guests never feel constrained, despite the vessel’s compact 102-foot footprint.

Below deck, the layout continues to impress with its thoughtful allocation of space and operational efficiency. The lower deck serves as the accommodation zone for guests, housing four well-appointed cabins designed with comfort and privacy in mind. This level also accommodates three crew cabins, a large and professionally equipped engine room, and a sizable garage capable of housing a tender measuring up to 16 feet in length, ensuring that guests can easily explore hidden coves and shoreline destinations whenever the mood strikes.
An especially intriguing operational choice on the Evo 31 involves the placement of the crew quarters and service spaces. Rather than tucking the crew mess away entirely on the lower deck—as is standard industry practice—Antonini Navi has positioned it directly on the main deck. This strategic placement grants the crew direct, unhindered access to the main galley. According to the shipyard, this thoughtful layout choice significantly improves both service flow and overall operational efficiency, allowing the crew to attend to the needs of the owner and guests with greater discretion and speed.
When it comes to performance and engineering beneath the sleek exterior, Hanaa is built to handle serious cruising. The yacht features a robust steel hull paired with a lightweight aluminum superstructure, a combination that provides both exceptional structural integrity and smooth handling in various sea conditions. Powered by twin diesel engines, the vessel achieves a respectable top speed of 13 knots and a comfortable cruising speed of 12 knots. More importantly for an explorer-style yacht, Hanaa boasts an impressive transatlantic range of 4,000 nautical miles when throttled back to an economic cruising speed of 10 knots, making it fully capable of long-distance voyages to remote corners of the globe.

The philosophy behind the vessel was emphasized by the shipyard during the launch event. In an official statement shared following the ceremony, Antonini Navi explained that the goal with the Evo 31 was to break the mold entirely and demonstrate that the shipyard possesses the advanced capabilities required to construct safe, modern, and top-quality bespoke metal yachts even within this specific size category. The yard stressed that Hanaa proves smaller vessels can still deliver interior and exterior liveability that directly rivals the comfort and luxury found aboard much larger vessels.
Following its debut at the private launch ceremony in La Spezia, Hanaa will undergo final outfitting and rigorous sea trials as the shipyard prepares the vessel for its official handover. The final delivery of the custom explorer yacht is currently scheduled for the spring of 2027, at which point this groundbreaking 102-footer will embark on its maiden voyages and officially test its innovative layout in the open waters of the world.
